Happy New Year 2022
As we are approaching the New Year, the Union for Secular Republic and Human Rights in Iran would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and peaceful 2022.
In 2021 we have faced many unprecedented challenges, including the unresolved legacies of COVID-19. In particular, 2021 has been unkind to the Iranian people. Despite the escalating health crisis and economic hardships, our fellow Iranians are also fighting on all fronts for their basic civil and human rights. Over the past year, widespread and massive protests against the Iranian government have shown the world that Iranians have had enough of the corruption, mismanagement, and incompetence of their autocratic government.
We hope the New Year marks a new era for the International community to stand unanimously and forcefully against the governments that suppress freedom and violate basic civil and human rights.
We, the Union for Secular Republic and Human Rights in Iran, renew our commitment to work together, closer than ever, to promote democratic values and human rights. We will do our best to ensure that the true voice of the Iranian people is heard in the international arena.
