Condemn Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and support global Anti-war protests against the incursion
After months of military buildup near borders of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, at the behest of Vladimir Putin, the Russian army finally invaded Ukraine in an act contrary to international law, the UN Charter, Minsk agreements while violating territorial integrity and national sovereignty of Ukraine and endangering global peace and security.
The Union for Secular Republic and Human Rights in Iran condemns the Russian government's belligerent actions and Putin's territorial expansionist ambitions to realize the crude dream of re-establishing Soviet influence in Eastern Europe.
We expresses our solidarity with the people of Ukraine and anti-war protests around the world. In its policy of dependency on the east, the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to support this action and we call on the people of Iran to show their opposition and demand for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine.
